Dog Boarding

What makes a great dog boarding facility?
  • They take great care of my dogs, both professionally and emotionally.
  • They never take more than thirty dogs at a time, due to their size, and every dog gets to go outside for several hours a day and get play-time with the staff.
  • However, the main reason I use them is that if you live within so many miles of them, they will send someone to your house to let your dogs out to potty, check and change food and water, walk, and play with your dog.
  • I also got to screen through their employees to pick who got sent to my home. As for price, it varies depending on size and breed of the dog. I pay an additional charge because both of my dogs are over forty pounds, and I pay another fee because one of my babies is a pit bull.
  • Grooming services that they offer are just baths, clipping of nails and fur, and ear cleanings. They are outside of town due to noise-permits, but it's good because they have several acres fenced off into sections for the dogs.
  • My dogs love them, so I like that best.

Training your dog

Crate training your new puppy. There are few effective ways to approach the matter of crate training your puppy or dog. If your puppy seems reluctant about entering the crate, place a chew toy inside and close the door to the kennel. They will see and smell the bone and will want you to let them in there to get it. Give your dog some praise when he gets inside, so that he further associates being in the crate with good behavior.
