To build your very first Business Fan Page, just
click here and complete the setup infomation and touch create.
I created a FanPage for my new Construction
Business. See below.
This will place you on the "Get Started tab" After uploading a Photo Image for your business, click on the Edit Info at the
top beneath the name of your Fanpage.
Complete this information, especially the About and Description boxes, and also include your website info.
Click the Save Changes and then click on the Your Settings tab and unclick the posting preferences checkbox.
This is where you separate your business from your personal facebook page. Click the Save Changes, and then click the email notifications to send you an email when someone post.
This way even if you are not on facebook, you will receive an email when someone post.
To go back to your main page, just click the View Page on the right hand side of the page. If you click the Facebook logo on the top left side, you will be returned to your FaceBook home page, "(as you)". When this happens, click on Account and Use Facebook as Page and then click on Switch next to your FanPage Name.
If you have not added an image to represent your business do it now.
Click on the other tabs on the left side, Manage Permissions, profile picture, your settings, and after you are finished
click on the view page on the right side. Make sure that you save changes on each tab.

After you have set up your page, and you are back on the Getting Started Page, click on the Wall to develop your first "Post".
Develop a couple of Posts that are pertinent to your business and then click share. This is where you would want to introduce
your new business Fanpage for all of your friends. I would do several posts, one about your new fanpage, one about any upcoming
news or events. This is where you start your relationship with your new and existing customers. Build the relationship first.
At this time you will want to start getting the word out to your friends and customers. On the main page, Click on the Getting
Started tab on the left side and Under the "Invite your friends" section click on "Suggest to Friends" tab.
This will bring up a list of your friends. After selecting the friends, select the "Send Recommendations" button.
This will start the process for your frineds. Ask them to Like your page and send it out to their friends as well.
You can import your contact file from Outlook and also your email contacts from Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc. This would be another great way to begin builing your fanbase.
If you have a website, put the Like box on your website and also set up your mobile phone.
This will give you the basic Fanpage and will get your business started on Facebook.
You should have already set up your goal of how often to post business related info, when to post, and set aside time to answer any questions that are posted to your wall, by your customers.
